For Tom it's a similar story to Angel's. But whereas Angel only had whiskers ONCE, Tom had whiskers every other time. Tom was 22. Now he's 20 in the year 6100. Tom was in the 3 foot range. Now he's 4' 2". And so on. Other than that kind of stuff, though, Tom is still the same personality that he's ALWAYS been. I've since thought up alot of ideas for Tom's fate from explorer to retired captain with a grown-up daughter and a 12 year old son (Picture to the right is from late 1999)!

Other character changes include Debbi Briggs, Nicholas Stalker, Tharcon, Terisa, Pamilla Durk, and Richard. Tharcon and Nicholas are changed more than anyone else, but you can read more on that subject in their bios.

1999

For the first half of 1999, I suffered enough of a distraction from Tom to not scan images for Tom until June. My first Tom scanning (Left) for 1999 was of a new character (Who has the experimental names "Vallery" or "Vixen"). She still has no name, but already has some personality developed. Soon after was a scan of my fairly new character Kelsie (Right) who has been a character unchanged in personality and looks since she was created in late 1998.

After these scans, I was getting back into Tom again. It wasn't long before I was making entire crews (for the Battleduster and Synchronizer) of characters. Luckily, it was about that time my drawing, coloring, and music writing (Although I started writing midis in 1998) skills all began to drastically improve.

Despite a move and continued Sonic fandom, my Captain Tom obssession stuck this time. I continued to make new characters and ideas for the Tom universe. As seen in this pic (Whitch was actually done in 1998), I was trying to grasp a plot by drawing a picture of more than just a character, but several characters interacting and their environment.

The picture portrays Debbi Briggs and Stacey Catz (Tom's daughter) helping Charlotte (Rocky's daughter) from almost sertain doom falling down a pit.
