Please contact a wizard about the advantages and disadvantages for various subraces. For example: A Dog would be listed under the common races, but you might want a doberman specifically. This would make you stronger than, say, a french poodle. :p
Lastly, if there is a race that you do not see in any of the race listings, feel free to ask about it.
B. Uncommon Races: These are races I decided had too many advantages to be common. Some of these races are just as common ICly as the common races, but that is irrelivant.
There are some races here that are ICly uncommon also, so I went ahead and put them under this section.
To have an uncommon race, you will need to either have a very convincing application, or you will need to get an interview with a wizard.
You can not have two uncommons in a row. If you have an uncommon, you must apply for a common before considering another uncommon.
C. Rare Races: To have a rare race, you must have 2 other active non-rare race characters. Please keep in mind that by "active", I mean you actually play the characters more than once a week. Also, you must be interviewed by a wizard. This is in ADDITION to your application.
A. If you have a laser gun or something better, you HAVE to be on Robotnik's side. Period. No turncoats.
B. You may have an android that is not a badguy, but this will not only be treated as a rare race, you will also be required to have *no* guns like a normal bot would have otherwise had. For more, please refer to NEWS DROIDS
C. Cyborgs are allowed as good or bad guys. But just like anyone, no guns if you want a goodguy.
There are perks to being a badguy. For starters, you are on the winning team. The goodguys are mostly in hiding and occasionally try hit and run tactics. Badguys can have all kinds of resources and can have weapons up the wazoo. The only downside is: You're evil. You are only allowed to be good if it is in your programming to decieve someone that way.
Other than that, if you have questions, please contact a wizard.
It should be obvious what I mean here. When you are roleplaying, you can use words like darn, crud, beans, fiddle-sticks, or even clumheep. You can also use @#$% and other such signs as a form of cursing. You may NOT spell out a cuss word using alternate means. For example |_3@rn = Learn.
I understand some don't have the same standards as I do, so you might say some cuss word and you didn't even know it was cussing. As a result of this, this rule is a 3-strike rule. If you get caught cussing on 3 occasions, you are out. Because by then, you should have been informed what is considered cussing.
Good become evil: 1. The goodguy is captured and roboticized.
2. The goodguy winds up a traitor for some very VERY good reason In other words, make it believeable.
Evil become good: 1. The character was a robian and gets deroboticized. Note: This takes ALOT of effort. For it to happen after you made a robian character would mean you have to tell one of the wizards ahead of time and make a TP (Tiny Plot) that gets an OK.
2. The character was a robot who got reprogramed. Note: This does NOT happen often. In fact, reprogramming will be treated like deroboticization; A TP will be required.
3. The character was a mobian who once worked for Robotnik somehow without being roboticized and finally gets persuaded or freed (If said person is a prisoner) to do the right thing.
Ok maybe you are saying duh about now. But let me tell you... there are those who would have you believe a goodguy would suddenly be evil for no reason. Or a badguy who would suddenly be good for no reason. This is wrong and forbidden.
IMPORTANT! You might want to be an agent for one side and betray the other and yet nobody know about it until it is too late. All you need do is ask one such request from a wizard. Let a wizard know and all is well. But remember... we require explanations.
On a final note, if you want to switch sides, try not to make a habbit of it. You will not survive. Both Robotnik's forces AND the Freedom Fighters will hunt you down and slay you. After a certain point, if you cry wolf too much, nobody will believe you.
1. The character will not be trusted much if at all until he or she becomes a member of one of the factions.
2. There must be a very good reason for this character to have survived without a group of allies for the past ten years. Note: You are allowed to have a group in your character's past regardless of their present.
3. Neutrals MUST have an inclination towards good or evil. Even if slight. People who consider themselves neutral are what I call evil in this setting. You are either for or against Robotnick. If you are not against him, you are for him. That is how it works.
Wizards are here to help! If you have ANY concerns or problems, contact a wizard. If they are all busy, then send a page mail with the subject "GRIPE: (your complaint)" to the wizard you want help from.
A wizard can remove your character and invent an IC excuse for that character's absence (Usually, I will use roboticization) if the wizard has discussed it with the other wizards.
A wizard is not exempt from the rules. Wizards are there to set the example and know the rules. Do not be fooled though. A wizard has an obligation to stay and record an argument, so they can not "walk away" like the rest of you lucky guys who can do so and then lay your problems on a wizard.
A wizard does NOT gain any IC advantage over anyone who is not a wizard. In otherwords, being a wizard will not allow you to have some goodguy with a nuke. Or, for that matter, anyone with magical powers. I have no intention of allowing even wizards to have an *unfair* advantage.
Last thing I wish to mention about wizards that is a slight exception to the rule "No IC advantage". While anyone who gets an approved TP has the power to roleplay NPCs, only wizards have the power to RP the FCs as NPCs, rare though this may be. This rule might change in time if ever this muck grows to where Sonic and Sally need to be RPed more often than once a year.
Rule 1. You must have 5 or more people (including yourself) to agree to be in this new group.
Rule 2. The people in your group can not be a part of another group. If they are, they must be leaving their old group in order to join yours.
Rule 3. You must make an IC background for your freedom fighter group in your character's personal +info. Note: You don't have to be the leader of the group you manage to make. I reccomend you all share personalities of your characters with each other and vote on who's character has the most leadership qualities.
