Background

John was a minor government official in the Acorn government (Assistant Minister of Recordkeeping) who was displeased with his status in the organization and how things were run. His way would've been better, of course. Skulking around in Mobotropolis for awhile, he approached Robotnik as someone who might support his position in taking over Mobotropolis. Of course, Robotnik's treason was far worse than he could have even imagined. Officially gone on vacation, John had been converted into a Robian and put into storage until the time came for the coup. After the coup, his prior ambitions were rewarded by somewhat more autonomy and a nonmenial position, though sadly the abilities which they were rewarding were lost in the conversion, then relocated to one of the then-front areas in Robotnik's takeover.

Abilities

Cloaking: John is able to become invisible; however, while invisible his reaction times are slowed due to increased strain on his processor. While still, his invisibility is nearly perfect; while in motion, almost heatwave-like distortion surrounds his outline. While his cloaking is engaged, it draws energy from his laser's power source, preventing its use. Laser: He has a laser installed in one arm. Low power (light to moderate stun only), medium range.
