Background
Experiencing a rather normal childhood in Middletown, fews things could have prepared Diomedes' naivete for the conflict that was about to begin. In fact, when the invaders first arrived, the child was quite amused by the very idea of such living machines; so interested that he quickily acquired an affinity for the technology that was such a plague to his people. Nevertheless, he was evacuated(though not without a bit of childish reluctance) to one of the few standing settlements of the rebels. Aquarius was now his home, and through years of gaining maturity under the harshest of conditions, he soon learned the true nature of that of which he once admired. Old enough to now fend for himself, he soon began to use his previous observations to the advantage of himself and his new cause. |
PersonalityWhile the innocence of his childhood has left him, his carefree ways managed to follow him all the way into his young adulthood. Diomedes is laid back, to say the least- though devoted to his work, it might take a bit of prodding to get him to actually complete a specified task. His laziness does have its graces, however, for the boy does seem to get along with just about anyone- as long as they see things relatively his way. Despite all of his bad habits, he does manage to keep a strong sense of duty, so what effort he does exert is sure to go to the greater good of his allies.

AbilitiesDiomedes' past admiration of the mechanized hordes did not come without its benefits. As soon as he was old enough to fully understand, he'd do anything he could to get his hands on whatever bits and pieces of enemy remnants would make it back to his homeland. After studying day an night, he became a technichian of sorts, knowing just enough about the machines to be proficient at manipulating the occasional odd device. Physically his species had always seemed a bit slow, and he is no exception, though a decent amount of physical strength is possessed to defend himself if needed. |
